Why do you think that some of the authors, for the books we have read this year, don't tell us the charectars real name (El Gato, Keeper, and Curley's wife)?

Have you ever been under as much pressure as Gato was when he was in the goal at the world cup? What was it?

My question is about when Gato was telling Faustino about his fathers death. It was a very tragic death and vey upsetting. Did he regret ever becoming a soccer star after his fathers death? Because if he wasnt a soccer star, there would be a good chance that his father might still be alive.
